CCMS members Dr. Andre Uflacker and Dr. Natalie Freidin recently volunteered in Gaza, bringing their skills, compassion, and dedication to communities in need.
Their service is a powerful reminder of the impact physicians can make beyond the walls of a hospital. We are honored to recognize their extraordinary commitment to helping others and proud to call them members of the Charleston County Medical Society.
Join us in thanking Dr. Uflacker and Dr. Freidin for their remarkable service and unwavering compassion.

Recap on Aprils` Tip from the Physician Health & Wellness Program:
Simplify and streamline your weekly fuel routine to make it less dauntingβ and more realistic, using the following tips before shopping and meal prep:
Before Shopping: Look at the week ahead and determine what is realistic. Is this a week where prepared foods are in order, and/or are there days when you can cook?
While Shopping: While grocery shopping, continue to be realistic. What types of grab-and-go food will you need or have time to eat?
After Shopping: When you come home from the store, immediately wash and prep any fruit or vegetable before putting them in the refrigerator, and/or prep portions in advance.
