Recap on Aprils` Tip from the Physician Health & Wellness Program:
Simplify and streamline your weekly fuel routine to make it less daunting– and more realistic, using the following tips before shopping and meal prep:
Before Shopping: Look at the week ahead and determine what is realistic. Is this a week where prepared foods are in order, and/or are there days when you can cook?
While Shopping: While grocery shopping, continue to be realistic. What types of grab-and-go food will you need or have time to eat?
After Shopping: When you come home from the store, immediately wash and prep any fruit or vegetable before putting them in the refrigerator, and/or prep portions in advance.
