Dr. Robert Alexander is a South Carolina native who returned to the Lowcountry with his family to serve patients statewide. He earned his undergraduate degree from UNC Chapel Hill and his medical degree from MUSC in Charleston, where he also completed an Internship in Internal Medicine and a Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He went on to complete an accredited Interventional Spine and Orthopedic Pain Fellowship in Birmingham, Alabama.
Dr. Alexander is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Medical Specialties. A published author and featured speaker at regional conferences, he brings over 20 years of experience delivering quality, non-surgical spine and orthopedic pain care to the residents of South Carolina.
