Dr. Heidi Williams is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon with a passion for helping patients look and feel their best. She specializes in breast surgery and aesthetic surgery of the face and body. She’s certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and is an active member of the Charleston County Medical Society (CCMS), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the Medical Society of South Carolina (MSSC).
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Dr. Williams graduated from Dartmouth College in 1991 before heading to George Washington University School of Medicine, where she discovered her love for surgery- especially plastic surgery. She returned home to Philadelphia for her General Surgery Residency at the Graduate Hospital in affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania.
Her training then took her to New York, where she completed a Burn and Microsurgical Fellowship at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College, followed by a Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Camden.
In 2002, Dr. Williams made Charleston her home and opened her private practice, where she has been serving patients ever since. In 2009, she expanded her practice by founding the Mount Pleasant Medispa, combining advanced skin care therapies with the highest standard of surgical care. Today, Dr. Williams works alongside her skilled team of registered nurses and aestheticians, offering personalized, professional, and friendly care. Together, they’re dedicated to helping patients feel confident and cared for every step of the way.
